Ducks Unlimited (DU) is considered the world's foremost leader in wetland and waterfowl conservation. DU began in 1937 in the midst of the Dust Bowl, a time when North America’s drought-plagued waterfowl populations had plunged to unprecedented lows. A small group of sportsmen, determined to not sit idly by as the continent’s waterfowl dwindled beyond recovery, came together and formed the organization that became known as Ducks Unlimited.
Ducks Unlimited was in need of rejuvenating its online marketing strategy and e-commerce presence, which had been dormant for two consecutive years. To address the situation, Ducks Unlimited entered into a unique revenue-sharing agreement with Irish Titan, creating a true partnership between both organizations.
To date, we have maintained our revenue share agreement with Ducks Unlimited, which has resulted in multiple project engagements. Most recently, we did a complete redesign of their site, migrating it onto a Magento platform, and updating site functionality to ensure adherence to ecommerce and online marketing best practices. Features included account creation, purchasing gift cards, social integration and enhanced on-page SEO efforts.
