I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with an  English Literature degree and dreams of becoming a writer.  Without much knowledge of what ecommerce was, I landed my first post-college job at in 2003. After 5 years, I moved on to 10 years in the lighting industry, first at Varaluz and then at Kichler. Though I had a variety of roles, I was always focused on ecommerce strategy and sales. Along the way, I studied Digital Marketing through a distance program at Duke to better hone my skills.
